The Detached Garage

$149.00

The Detached Garage is a free‑standing single‑car garage with an attached carport, designed for flexibility and straightforward construction. Because the garage is free‑standing, you have greater freedom for siting it on your lot to suit driveway access, property lines, sightlines, or to preserve existing landscaping.

This 11×17 Design Development Drawing Set includes the following information your builder will need to prepare an accurate cost estimate:

  • Title page with two exterior renderings and project information

  • Conceptual Site Plan to show an example of where the garage can be sited relative to your home and property lines

  • Floor Plan, Roof Plan, and Foundation Plans (Final Foundation Details to be provided by your local Architect or Engineer)

  • Exterior Elevations Sheets showing exterior materials, roof slopes, and pertinent elevation heights

  • Conceptual Foundation and Slab Details Pages including footing sizes, reinforcement, and slab thickness (Final Details to be provided by your local Architect or Engineer)

  • Door and window schedules with sizes and rough‑opening details

  • Typical wall and roof sections and details

  • Conceptual Electrical layout indicating lighting, outlets, and provision for garage door opener

  • License Agreement for using these plans to build your garage

The Detached Garage set is ready to review with your builder to confirm scope, materials, and any site‑specific adjustments (foundation type, utility locations, or grading).
